Signing an agreement

Once a Project Sponsor's Final Application is approved, the Project Sponsor downloads the completed SOP Agreement from the website, makes a copy of it, signs both and mails both to the program administrator. The Project Sponsor is required to sign this agreement before installing any measures. The agreement includes a description of the measures that are to be installed, estimates of the demand and energy savings, a maximum incentive payment amount, and the approved measurement and verification approach. After the agreement has been executed by both parties, the Project Sponsor may begin to install the measures.

The agreement must be received by AEP within 15 business days of the FA approval.

The agreement terms and conditions are the same for each Project Sponsor. A copy of the agreement can be downloaded from the Program Downloads section.
