Deadlines

To encourage the timely completion of projects, the following deadlines have been established:

Initial Application (IA) – is submitted and reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Project Sponsor and Customer Agreement (if applicable) – must be received by AEP within 15 business days of IA submittal.

Final Application (FA) – must be submitted within 15 business days from IA approval.

Security Deposit – must be received by AEP within 20 business days from IA approval.

Agreement – must be received by AEP within 15 business days of the FA approval.

Measures – must be installed within 6 months of the Effective Date of the Agreement.

Installation Report (IR) – must be submitted within 15 business days from measure installation.

Customer Acknowledgement Form (if applicable) – must be received by AEP within 15 business days from measure installation.

Savings Report (SR) (if applicable) – must be submitted within 18 months of the Effective Date of the Agreement.

Failure to adhere to the above timelines will result in:

Application being rejected,
Application reverting back to the Initial Application not submitted stage,
Previously reserved incentive request will become unreserved,
Security Deposit will be forfeited.

If the Project Sponsor decides to resubmit the Initial Application, AEP will not approve the Initial Application (no funds reserved) until the applicable Security Deposit has been received by AEP.
