- Only equipment installed at an address that receives electrical service from SWEPCO Arkansas is eligible for the rebate.
- Rebates are eligible only for the replacement of existing units. Fuel switching activities and new construction projects are not eligible.
- Central AC and heat pumps must be ENERGY STAR® rated and surpass current minimum standards. Units must have a SEER rating of 14.0 or greater and an EER rating of 11.5 or more. Heat pumps must have a minimum ARI-listed HSPF rating of 8.2. Window and room air conditioners are not eligible. All units must have ratings that can be verified at CEE's Directory of ARI Verified Equipment at http://www.ceedirectory.org
- Rebate forms must be completely and accurately filled out.
- SWEPCO Arkansas or its implementing contractor reserves the right to inspect the installed rebated unit to verify that the project meets program conditions. Customer agrees to cooperate with the inspection process by providing information about the unit and to give inspectors access to the cooling and heating units.
- SWEPCO Arkansas is providing a cash discount rebate on ENERGY STAR air conditioning and/or heat pump units in order to assist its customers in the purchase of more energy efficient equipment. SWEPCO Arkansas promotes equipment that has met ENERGY STAR standards, but does not recommend or endorse any specific contractor or equipment manufacturer. Neither SWEPCO Arkansas nor its implementing program contractor is responsible or liable for the quality, safety and/or installation of the items incentivized through this rebate.
- Funding for this program is limited, and rebates will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated program funds are depleted.
