    You can accomplish all three with the purchase of an energy efficient, ENERGY STAR® central air conditioner or heat pump.

    Cooling and heating can account for as much as half of a home's electric bill. If your air conditioning system is more than 10 years old, it might be time to replace it with a more energy efficient unit. New units can use as much as 40% less electricity than older models. By upgrading to a new ENERGY STAR air conditioner or heat pump system, you can save money and help the environment from the increased comfort of your own home.
